3 Ways To Accept Credit Cards Online

Accepting credit cards on your website is easier than most people think. In the past you had to have merchant accounts and it was actually very difficult for a new online business to get this facility.

I’m going to show you three easy ways to accept credit cards.

1. Clickbank

One of the easiest ways is to get and account from Clickbank. You can sell anything that is download-able like ebooks, videos, software, etc.

It does take a couple of days to get everything in place because Clickbank has some rules and regulations when you want to publish and sell your own product. It does take some time learning how it works but when you understand the process, it is easy and fast.

The thing I like about Clickbank is the fact that you can get affiliates that help sell your product and Clickbank handles all the admin.

I’ve used Clickbank for many of my products and I never had a problem getting my money from them.

Setting up recurring payments is also easy after Clickbank approved the product you selling. This is ideal for membership sites.

2. Paypal

Paypal is a very good option to use and as a matter of fact it is much faster than Clickbank to get going. It is a very safe option and many marketers use this method.

You can also set up recurring billing for your products and you can withdraw the money in your account to your own bank account. This is very convenient. You can send money all over the world.

The only drawback is that Paypal is not active in all countries. If you stay for instance in South Africa like I do, I can only send money but cannot receive money. Check at Paypal whether your country qualifies or not.

3. 2Checkout

I use 2Checkout.com a lot. It is very easy to add new products once you have an account with them. You can set up recurring billing products within minutes and activate it.

There are tutorials showing you how to set up new products and what is great is the fact that people can pay through Paypal and the money goes to your 2Checkout account.

This makes it possible to accept credit cards and Paypal payments even when you stay in a country that does not accept Paypal.

Al three of these option can help you to sell your products online. I’ve used all of them and I never had any real trouble with anyone of them.
